Christine & Mavis Drew

Trial by Jury_Play_Great Witley_1965Mavis Drew moved to Little Witley as a child at the beginning of World War II with her family. She married John Drew and together they built up their flower and tomato business. Mavis is mother to Nigel, Paul, Adam & Jane, all of who still live in the village.


Christine Drew

Mrs Christine Drew (nee Oliver)  was born in 1941 in Hartlebury, and educated at Kidderminster High School. Christine married David Drew in 1964, and lived in Little Witley since then. Christine was always an important part of the village community and was sister in law of Mavis Drew.

Christine sadly passed away suddenly aged 75 years on February 5th 2015, after bravely fighting multiple sclerosis over many years. The Thanksgiving Service was held at St Michael and All Angels Church, Little Witley, on Tuesday, February 24th, at 2.30 p.m.
